There’s something about that first moment in May or June when you take the turn-off toward Pampelonne. The pine trees, the dust on the road, the first glimpse of blue through the dunes. You know instantly: the season has begun. And every year, the question is the same — where shall we lie today?
For summer 2026, the answer is more interesting than ever. Pampelonne has reinvented itself once again, with fresh makeovers of familiar addresses, and menus that prove the Côte d’Azur still dictates the rhythm of summer in 2026. Here’s our guide to the season ahead.
Verde Beach remains one of our favourite addresses on Pampelonne. The Yeeels Group traditionally opens at the end of April or early May, and the boho-chic Moroccan shisha lounge has been redressed for 2026. Expect creative dishes, a wine list to dream over, and as the sun sets: a dance floor that easily carries you into the evening. (1149 Chemin de l’EPI, Ramatuelle)
Loulou Ramatuelle is once again under Gucci’s wing for the new season — a joyful, bold collaboration that turns this classic into a kind of modern Riviera dream. Italian and French dishes, a terrace that smells of olive oil and sea salt, and that unmistakable art de vivre the French have patented. (Chemin des Tamaris, Ramatuelle)
Casa Amor is a world of its own — Tulum meets Saint-Tropez, with a Dolce & Gabbana makeover that has shifted the palette toward bold patterns and soft boho tones. The ceviches and tacos are genuinely worth it, and if you’re the type to order a mezcal margarita at five in the afternoon: this is your place. (1095 Chemin des Tamaris, Ramatuelle)
Bagatelle Beach does what Bagatelle does best — long lunches that stretch into the late afternoon, champagne that never seems to run out, and a soundtrack that around three o’clock makes that transition from dining to dancing. For 2026, the menu has been refreshed with more seasonal ingredients.
Byblos Beach Ramatuelle consciously chooses calm this year. Natural materials, open spaces, a menu built around fresh produce. The perfect counterweight to the festive addresses — ideal for that one day you just want to read, swim, and have a long lunch without a DJ set in between.
Club 55 remains Club 55. Sunbeds at €38, parasols at €18, and chic beach huts at €58 — eco-friendly, placed directly on the sand. Reserve at least a month in advance, arrive on time, and order the crudités. Some things don’t change, and thankfully so.
La Réserve à la Plage is the quieter sibling of the famous hotel. Refined dishes, marble bathrooms, and the kind of discreet service you return for.
Gigi Ramatuelle brings Italy to the Riviera — gardens full of flowers, an atmosphere that works just as easily for a family lunch as for a romantic dinner.
Nikki Beach does its thing as always: champagne rituals, international crowd, energy that runs high from early in the day.
What stands out this year is that the choice between ‘party’ and ‘quiet’ is becoming clearer. Pampelonne in 2026 truly offers two worlds — the high-energy addresses where you spend the whole afternoon in a kind of glorious chaos, and the quieter places where you feel like you’ve discovered something. Our tip: combine them. A morning at Byblos or La Réserve, lunch somewhere livelier, and then see where the evening takes you.
What also helps: staying close to Pampelonne. The difference between a ten-minute and a forty-minute commute to your sunbed is, in July and August, a bigger difference than you might think. The roads around Ramatuelle are jammed from eleven in the morning, and nothing is more frustrating than having a table at half past one at Loulou and still being stuck in traffic at quarter past.
That’s why we deliberately rent out our villas in the immediate surroundings — so your day doesn’t revolve around logistics, but around that one moment when, just after lunch, you dive into the sea, walk back to your lounger, and think: yes, this is what I came for.
