Villa La Mer is a wonderful residence set above the charming village of Sainte-Maxime, with sweeping panoramic views across the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. The village centre — with its restaurants, beaches and lively harbour — is just minutes by car or a 25-minute walk away. A 10-minute ferry crossing takes you directly to the heart of Saint-Tropez for boutiques and the famous Tuesday and Saturday markets at Place des Lices.

Outside, the villa unfolds around a generous private swimming pool, framed by a beautifully covered terrace that takes in the full panorama of the bay. The mountains and the harbour stretch out to one side, and at sunset the entire scene transforms — the perfect setting for an apéritif of chilled Provence rosé.

Indoor & outdoor living

The villa is reached via a private electric gate and driveway. On the pool level, a remarkable 600-year-old olive tree — sculpted in the Japanese bonsai tradition — greets you at the main entrance. From here, a generous living and dining room flows into a fully equipped kitchen and on to the outdoor dining terrace.

This level also features two bedrooms with private shower rooms and WCs, and a small home office.

The first floor is dedicated to the master suite, complete with private balcony, en-suite shower room and magnificent views.

On the garage level, two additional bedrooms share a shower room and WC, alongside a generously sized garage.
